I love that this kettle is so easy to use. It gives me 4 cups of boiling hot water in about 5 minutes. I can do that with the help of this kettle. The cord is on the base, not on the kettle. I don’t have to worry about messing with the cord because I can pick it up. The water runs through the filter as you pour it. This can hold up to 4 cups. You need room for it to boil up without overflowing because it comes to a full raging boil. It’s easy to use, just fill it up with the amount of cups you want. The red light comes on when you push the little red lever down. You can see it coming to a hard boil through the blue tinted window. The kettle and red light went off when it was done. It doesn’t let you know if it’s done, it just shuts off. It takes 1 minute per cup to boil. The unit runs until the water starts to boil. It takes 5 minutes 28 seconds for my unit to shut off if I start with cool water. The water stays hot for a long time, but after it shuts off, you’ll want to use it. The kettle can get hot so be sure to use the handle. The kettle is 7” tall and the stand is 8” tall.

I’ve been looking at an electric kettle for a while. I wanted a small one because it was only for one person. This is a perfect size. I could have used a smaller one for tea, but this works for cooking too, when I need to add more water to something. You don’t have to fill it completely. It’s small enough to fit on my counter. It is fast and shuts itself off. The shut off feature is important to me. It’s much easier to boil water on the stove than it is to pull out a pot. I like it!

The kettle is large enough to hold 2 or more serving of boiled water. It’s important for a good cup of tea to have boiled water, and this kettle is similar to those found in Europe. When I was stationed in England in the 1980’s, I fell in love with my first electric kettle. I haven’t been able to find the Stateside equivalent. The Aroma Kettle was received through the Spark Reviewer program. It is perfect for a small family. The kettle has 3 parts. The base that sits on to heat or to store was already inserted in my kettle. The kettle should only be used for boiling water. The handle is designed for pouring water and picking up the kettle. 6 minutes is how long it takes to boil a full kettle of water. The opening in the top makes it easy to pick up the lid. I washed the pot before using it. I had to remove the lump of black from the bottom of the pot with a dull knife. It did not damage the pot. When cleaning, I want you to check the inside. The opening on the power base should be set in the outside of the pot. It is easy to take off after the water has boiled for pouring. The pot has a filter under the spout, which is easy to remove and clean. The Aroma kettle has an instruction booklet in the box, a quick start guide, and a thank you for your purchase. The seasoning is $1. There is a coupon. I am very happy with the kettle’s size. I had not been able to find a replacement for the small kettle that I had had for years. The size is perfect for travelling. It’s a good idea to keep the box for easy packing. The clear window shows the water level and I could see the water was boiling before the kettle shut off. They will make great gifts and I hope they are carried in the store.
