I purchased the Drew Barrymore Beautiful Kettle from MySaveMall.com. I was so excited when I received the package yesterday – I immediately read the instructions and boiled water 3 times before using. To my surprise today when I went to use the kettle I noticed that it has a spot of corrosion on the bottom. I am so upset… I waited so long for my package and now it\’s defected.

It works for the first few months. Like many others, my display broke and now only some parts light up. The warranty claims process is the worst. I provided my receipt, a picture of the serial number and a picture of the broken display. All reasonable requets. They wanted me to provide a video of the broken display after I provided all of this. I had to convert my video from my phone to make it smaller because their upload limit is only 20MB. I sent it. They said they don\’t have it in stock so they\’ll send me a check for the price I paid. They want me to cut the power cord and send them a picture of the kettle before they send the check. I need to do some crazy things to get a warranty claim processed.

Excellent kettle! A modern design is sitting on my counter top. It takes 7 minutes to boil water with a temperature over 200F. Its a good size. 7 cups of tea can be made from 7 liters of water. I’m okay with that because it isn’t quiet while heating up and boiling. The touch activated display only illuminates when you need it. It has a keep warm setting. It is easy to clean. I can’t wait to see what other fabulous items Drew B. has. Comes up with.

The kettle has the ability to set the water temperature. The water ignores the programmed temperature and goes to 212 degrees regardless of which temp or preset I choose. I didn’t understand how it was supposed to work. I don’t recommend either case.
