Ok… Here’s the deal! The coffee maker is great for what it does. It makes a great tasting coffee. It is automatic! Great design makes it easy to clean. It is very nice looking. It’s cheaper than most coffee makers. It doesn’t have a hot plate. It has a thermos. Which keeps coffee hot. Well… Any thermos would do as long as necessary. If you are looking for an easy to use, easy to clean, programmable, grind and brew for your morning commute coffee, then you are in the right place. This is a great deal. Do you drink coffee all day at home? You might want to look at other versions of the hot plate. My friends are the real deal on this coffee maker. I don’t usually do these, but I felt that many of the reviews here were not fair to this machine. The majority of the negatives here are from people who didn’t realize what they were buying. I agree!
