It’s a good idea to read review before buying… It was exactly what other users had experienced when they had the same leaking issue from the cups indicator after two months of purchase. After only two uses, the lip had an issue opening.

It leaks hot water from the base when first used. And dangerous at the same time. I will have to return it since it is steel. It would have been better if it did what it was supposed to do and didn’t leak hot water everywhere.
