I only use black and decker coffee makers and they make the best coffee. My carafe broke and I can\’t find it on your website or anywhere else. I need your help in the right direction. You may want to post how to get a replacement carafe for the cm5000b because others have done the same thing.

I decided to purchase this coffee maker with all of the expected coffee drinkers around the house for the holidays. Prior to that… I used to own and use the Black and Decker personal coffee maker for over 3 years. Guess what? You can’t buy a replacement mug. The replacements are more expensive than the coffee maker. The price tag is hefty. The maker, the grinder feature, timer, speed, clean up, etc., were all great, but the carafe has been a nightmare ever since. Couldn’t find a replacement carafe anywhere. The closest match I could find was on the Black and Decker site. They spent more money on their products. Again! It was a waste. The coffee produced isluke warm, spills and sputtering everywhere, and the new pot doesn’t even line up with the plunger/downspout. The Black and Decker brand was disappointing to me. Totally avoiding them in the future.

I really like this coffee maker. The metal filter is inside the grinder. Load it up with whole bean coffee and you won’t experience that dried out experience. We wake up to fresh ground coffee each day after setting it up. Coffee strength and grinding coarseness can be controlled with a lot of settings. We need a new basket. I want to know where that part is available.

We’re enjoying our coffee maker. Having recently switched to whole bean coffee, this makes the morning routine so much easier by eliminating a separate grinder. The basket holds more than enough beans for a full pot of coffee, and the grinder function is relatively quiet. The flexibility of using whole bean or pre-ground coffee is something I like. Cleanup is easy with no paper filters needed. You can rinse the grinder under the water. There is a flip up lid over the grinder. Make sure the filter is still in place when you wipe it down, otherwise loose grounds will fall through. ). Can’t beat the combo of function and price.

The fresh smell of coffee makes me happy. The grinding is very fast. The coffee pot is easy to clean. The coffee is quite strong. I had friends over for taste testing. We made regular, medium and strong coffee. The majority of the guys liked the medium best. Being a big coffee drinker made me like the strong one. We think this product is a winner.

My 16 year old Melitta Mill & Brew was replaced by the Black and Decker Mill and Brew. The Black & Decker stopped working 6 months after I got it. Plug it in, program it, hit the on button, and it sits there doing nothing. I called the B&D service number and they will send me a replacement coffee maker. It doesn’t sound like I’m the first person to have this problem. The replacement unit should last at least 6 months.

A year ago, I bought this machine and enjoyed the great tasting coffees, but now it leaks a fair amount of water onto the outside of the carafe, and drips onto the hot plate and out the back. This is a common problem with the coffeemaker. I can’t recommend it.
