In exchange for my honest review, I received this product free. I like this coffee maker. It only requires a single touch to engage the brew time feature. Most automatic coffee makers have a glass carafe that sits on a hot plate to keep the coffee hot. When properly closed, this product has only the opening for the coffee to brew into and no hot plate. After seven hours, the coffee is still hot without sitting on a hot plate that can cook down the coffee and create a bitter taste. A locked or unlocked padlock indicator can be found on the extended tab on the lid of the carafe. There is a button on the top of the tab that you can use to open the coffee. The coffee basket has a handle that makes it easier to remove and fold it down. I haven’t had this product long enough, but it has an indicator on the display after 60 brewing cycles to clean the machine with the auto clean function, where you add white vinegar, start the auto clean cycle, let it go through its’ process than you brew one or two cycles An evenstream showerhead that provides even saturation of the coffee grounds versus all the water streaming through just the center is one of the features. Once the brew has finished, it turns off the function. We will definitely have this coffee maker in our house for a long, long time.

The coffee pot works well. The only problem we have is that the delivery man let the package drop out of his hand instead of placing it down. He let it hit the concrete and fall down. It didn’t hurt in the coffee pot.

The clock display wants to stop. The buttons are useless. The display is still crazy even though it was unplugged. It took nearly 2 years for it to have any problems.
