There are many functions of the maker, such as a cleaning function, brew strength selector, and 1-4 cup setting. The unit has a charcoal filter for tap water.

The Braun Brew Sense 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker with Brew Strength Selector and Glass Flavor Carafe was sent to me through the My SaveMall Spark Reviewer Program. This is my first Braun coffee maker. This was very easy to set up. The manual was easy to understand. The coffee from this machine is the best I have ever had, but I am not a hardcore coffee drinker. I have a cup of joe and need some things in it. I like that. It was easy to put water in the pot by opening the plastic lid and pouring it right in. There are no issues here. It keeps the coffee hot. You can set the automatic cut-off for a shorter amount of time up to 5 hours if you enable the auto off after 2 hours. I recommend this coffee maker to anyone who loves coffee and anyone who enjoys a good cup of coffee. The coffee is just at the right temperature every time. You can pour a cup in the middle of the brew. The strength of the coffee can be adjusted. It tastes great and I like it. It\’s easy to clean and maintain. The coffee from this machine is simply the best I\’ve ever had. Enjoy.

It got great reviews on several sites. But! The “keeps warm” temp is literally that: Warm, because it does not brew hot enough to really extract the essence of coffee. I’m returning this unit because it’s just so-so. I expected more.

I thought it wasn’t going to ship but it did. I was impressed with how well it was made. There is a clock on the maker and a timer that you can set to make coffee when you need it. No need to buy paper filters because it makes up to 12 cups at a time. Comes with a coffee measuring cup. After the coffee is hot and fresh, there is no grounds left in the pot. It was easy to clean up.

It needs a lighted clock because you can’t see numbers. I had to get a flashlight to put in time and if I want to program I will have to have a flashlight held to do it. There is a problem with the coffee pot which should be fixed with lighted numbers. . The pot is expensive. I like the size.

We have been making our own coffee at home since we got the brewsense coffee maker and we are very pleased with it. It’s so easy to use that you don’t need to buy filters. There are easy controls and a glass carafe. I can program the coffee maker to start making coffee at a certain time. I can wake up and smell the house of morning coffee. It’s a nice looking coffee pot and doesn’t take up a lot of space because it isn’t big and bulky. I am very happy with this item.

For this review, I received a 12 cup Braun brewsense coffee maker. The Braun Coffee Maker had a good quality lid. My husband is having trouble seperating the coffee filters and putting the coffee ground in them so I use the metal filter instead. The coffee is on the counter. That’s right. We like the 12 cup size because we are big coffee drinkers. The coffee maker is working well.

The coffee maker has some of my favorite features. I can adjust the heating element for a really hot cup of coffee. It’s easy to program whatever you want. The rating is four because it doesn’t have a water gauge. If you have an outside gauge, you can fill the unit from the pitcher, but I have to fill the pot and pour it into the unit. When you want a second pot, you have to clean the pot completely, instead of just dumping in more water. It’s not horrible, but it’s annoying.

This machine makes wonderful coffee. I bought a new machine because it was a great tasting machine that wasn’t $500. This is not a fancy coffee maker. The results are good even though it has just the basic features. I give a 5 star rating to the price and quality of the flavor you receive. I have an espresso machine and I don’t need any other features. I was looking for a machine that would do the basics and brew a delicious pot of coffee, and I am very happy with the results. You can brew a pot with good quality beans if you grind them yourself. The flavor is smooth and does not have a bitter aftertaste. I wish it had a thermal pot so coffee could stay hot longer.

I’ve had multiple Braun coffeemakers over the last 20 years and this one isn’t the best. I can’t fill the reservoir up to 12 because I can’t see the cups of water coming out of the bottom. What is wrong with this? Very disappointed! If Braun can’t give me a fix, I’m going to go back to a Cuisinart. It’s not related to the coffee’s grind as I haven’t added the coffee yet. Reviews don’t speak well of Braun’s support.

The charcoal filter is very important to me. I have never heard of charcoal filters in a coffee pot. The water tastes better. I was surprised. I own many coffee pots. It may be the best, but it has room for improvement. There is a sleek design on the counter. It makes a great cup of coffee. The coffee pot’s clock is a big improvement over my last one. It’s easier to read in the middle of the night. It’s hard to tell how many cups have been poured because you can’t see the numbers on the ridges. There is no way to see how many cups of water there are. When it’s time for a replacement, the charcoal water filters are hard to find. When pouring the water into the coffee pot, you have to have your hand at an angle because the coffee pot is small. The unfortunate occurrence of water pouring down the pot and pooling on the counter is a result of this. You can use the mesh filter basket instead of buying disposable filters if you like.

It fits in nicely with my other kitchen appliances and I love the black with the silver buttons. Coffee maker is clean and easy to use. It comes with a coffee filter, a water filter, and a spoon to scoop coffee into it. The ability to automate coffee making makes it easy to set up. We can brew up to 12 cups of coffee at a time, but we only brew 6 cups at a time. We don’t have to buy and use coffee filters anymore as it comes with a permanent one, which is very easy to rinse and reuse. I love it so far.
