You can use the pushbutton feature on the front of the machine to access many useful features. The features include a timer and charcoal filter. I wouldn\’t buy a new charcoal filter if the coffee tasted good without it. If you don\’t want to purchase paper filters if you want to save money, I would recommend this product that has a screen filter.

The coffee maker has some of my favorite features. I can adjust the heating element for a really hot cup of coffee. It’s easy to program whatever you want. The rating is four because it doesn’t have a water gauge. If you have an outside gauge, you can fill the unit from the pitcher, but I have to fill the pot and pour it into the unit. When you want a second pot, you have to clean the pot completely, instead of just dumping in more water. It’s not horrible, but it’s annoying.

We bought this replacement machine because it always made our coffee great. After three years, the last one stopped working. The machine is not making a full pot. Unless we shake the coffee pot, it stopped filling the complete pot after a half pot. The water is in the backet. We don’t have the settings for four cups, so we had to clean the whole machine after one morning when it didn’t fill the pot. We have verified that the pot is under the basket. We don’t know if we have a bad machine, or if it is designed wrong, and we would like some direction with this issue. We have had an issue since we bought it again.

I was not happy with the coffee maker. The body of the appliance is cheap, the glass in the carafe is thin, and the carafe lid is annoying because it comes off too easily. The features we wanted were not described in the write-up. Paper filters don’t fit well and the metal coffee filters are hard to clean. There is a lot of water in the coffee. I apologize for the purchase we made.

I got this a few days ago and couldn’t wait to try it. The Braun Brew Sense 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker comes with a coffee scooper, which I love. The coffee is fresh. The best coffee I’ve had was from a regular coffee maker. There is a clock, automatic brew buttons and a clean button. The pot can be up to 4 cups. It takes about 10 minutes to brew. It doesn’t seem like a long time, but when you’re half awake, it’s when you’re waiting for a coffee. The auto brew will be set up to avoid that problem in the future. I have no complaints about the Braun brewsense coffee maker. I would recommend the Braun Brew Sense 12-Cup Coffee Maker to anyone looking for a new coffee maker.

A good coffee maker. Good looking and functional. The pot does not spill. The controls are easy to use. Text on pot should be easier to read. I usually fill the pot with the water and then pour it into the maker because it is difficult to read the cup level inside the water Hopper.
