It was used for Thanksgiving. I used to deepfry my turkey but the hassle of cleaning and disposing of the oil along with the inherent danger of oil and open flames made me want to try this. Went great! Prepare your turkey the same way you would deep fry it. It should be moist and delicious. I could leave it unattended, unlike deepfrying. I am very happy that I received my cooker as a gift. I was skeptical at first. We have a tradition of deep fat frying turkeys. I didn’t think it could be beat for flavor. I was wrong. This is better for us and just as good.

I couldn’t wait to use it after purchasing it. I thought it would work better. It has a pink color edge because of how it cooks when cut into the turkey. The meat was very good. I noticed that the wire basket was broken after using the product for the first time. They sent me a new one after I called the customer service department. Excellent customer service! It would have been better if it had a meat temperature tool. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who fries turkey’s or likes to smoke chickens and ribs. It’s a money saver to cook with cooking oils and clean them up. This is a product that Char – Broil offer.

I received the Char-Broil Big Easy Turkey Fryer as a gift from a friend and I have really enjoyed it. It cooks whole turkeys and chickens without oil. The meat is juicy and the skin is crisp. We bought accessories for the fryer that allow us to hang turkey legs, wings, ribs, and even two whole chickens at the same time. My outdoor kitchen collection has a new addition.

This was bought a month ago. I have used his friends before and had good results. The bottom of the turkey will be left raw if this fryer is used. The photos are attached. The turkey was in the fryer for almost five hours. Completely unacceptable. I couldn’t finish on the oven.
