I bought the cheaper one for the college student center where I work. The students can use the water for hot chocolate or oatmeal. We got this one because the water was too hot. It doesn’t. I tried calling the manufacturer but didn’t get anyone to pick up the phone after I found the number online. We kept the cheaper one and took this one back.
