I like this blender a lot. I use it twice a day to make fruit and vegetable smoothie. It is better to put soft foods in first, then frozen and use the pre-programmed smoothie setting. It’s a bit loud and I wear noise protection headphones. I hold the lid on while I blend. The glass carafe is easy to clean and looks new. My S. is mine. O. His copolyester carafe now looks grungy after he bought a Vitamix at the same time. The Cuisinart has a timer and tastes just as good as the other ones. The Cuisinart blades and ring are not part of the all-in-one unit. A bottle brush can be used to clean the blades. It is easy to rinse the blender after using clean up.

I bought the best blender I could find because I knew buying a cheap one would cost you more in the end. The first one didn’t make me happy. I returned the blender and bought another one because I loved it so much. I use it almost every day of the week. It is kind of like a milk shake because I put a lot of ice in it. It works. I don’t allow it to run for more than 30 seconds with out a pause. The high setting was burned out the first time I used it. I think it has too much power. Trust me, you don’t need a high setting. The machine works well. I blend frozen fruit and ice. Love it.
