I own this almost a year and still very happy with it. It hits all my needs from water filter to the thermal carafe that keeps coffee drinking hit for several hours. No coffee sitting on a hot plate and burning . I make a full pot each day take some with me in travel mug and later in the day if after 6 hrs just hear a cup for 30 seconds in microwave and never bitter . Note I drink black coffee and use 100% Colombian.

Coffee is not kept hot by the carafe. After the brew is done, it shuts off. I want my coffee to be hot. Would not recommend it. I have owned coffee makers before.

Are you tired of coffee pots sitting in a hotplate and getting bitter? This version is for you. Coffee fills a THERMAL Pot which doesn’t grow stronger over time. This is the second coffee maker we have. After 20 years, the first one gave up.

16 years ago, I received this coffee maker as a gift. I bought the new one because it made great coffee when it started leaking. It has a couple quirks that I am used to. It can be difficult to put on the lid for the first time. The “line up” arrows are hard to see on the black version. The coffee pours out slowly, so I just take the lid off the pot. The 1-4 cup selection is something I use all the time. The price is reasonable and it looks nice on my counter.

Coffee in the morning is important to me. It needs to be good. My coffee maker is the best. I like the metal carafe. There is no burnt bitter coffee taste when sitting on a heating element. A little difficult to fill.

When we made our first pot of coffee, the coffee maker leaked water from a seam near the grounds basket after we took the coffee pot out of the box. It still leaked even after we tried several times. We bought a Mr. after returning the coffee maker. Coffee.

The hotplate is worthless. It stays on for a short time while the coffee is being made. The coffee is only slightly more warm when the metal carafe absorbs the heat from the fresh coffee. You’ll need a microwave if you want hot coffee. You will not be happy.

The machine we bought was to replace an old Mr. Coffee. The machine is easy to use and brew a good cup of coffee. The coffee doesn’t stay very hot for a long time because the crafe doesn’t keep it very hot. I went to see a new Mr. Coffee is stored on a shelf.
