This product worked well. I had one ayears ago and thought I’d try one again. I know cuisinart has quality products so no question there. However I’m just not a fan anymore I like my plain ol percolator. This is a nice machine. It grinds the coffee and drips great!

I replaced the previous model of the grinder with a louder one. The glass carafe and heating plate on this model keeps the coffee much hotter than the insulated one I used to own.

The best coffee is made by the Cuisinart coffee makers. I’ve tried not to heat the coffee as much as these do. This is the second Cuisinart that I’ve purchased and both are amazing. I love the fact that the DGB-550BK has a coffee grinder built in, I no longer have another device sitting on my counter. Coffee that was packaged as ground was not as good as fresh ground coffee. I program the coffee maker to turn on just before I’m done getting ready for work in the morning and I have not gotten used to the grinder kicking on, it makes me jump every day. That’s right.

The coffee grinder/brewer has a lot to offer. This is the third one. The first one blew after an electrical storm. The old model died of old age. The glass pot works better than the steel one. It makes a great cup of coffee. The parts are dishwasher safe.

I bought another coffee pot just like the one I bought eight years ago, because it served me so well. The years of service it gave me was more important than the fact that I had to replace the filter basket and surgery on the top doorlatch. I bought a new grinder motor because the old one still works, but I took it to my office because the old one still works. It’s easy to make great coffee. I highly recommend it.

After several years, our previous brewer burned out. We have been using a k-cup machine for awhile, but decided this was a needed machine in our kitchen. I wish they hadn’t changed the grinder in the updated version. You used to be able to keep any amount of beans in the hopper and choose your cup amount. You scoop beans into a burr grinder for each use. After every use, the burr grinder must be cleaned. I am not a fan of the new grinder.

The water is easy to fill. It takes only a few minutes to clean up after use. Good coffee. I use 5 scoops for coffee. Not very loud grinder. This has been the best coffee grinder I have ever used.

We used to give this coffeemaker as a gift. I decided to replace it asap because it was starting to wear out. There was no question as to what I would replace the coffeemaker with. I ordered another one and am happy with it. Makes a delicious cup of coffee and loves the bean grinder/coffeemaker all in one, it’s so convenient and less messy than transferring the ground beans from a separate bean grinder. I have a few of the small appliances that I purchase from Cuisinart.

This is the third time I’ve tried this machine. I keep trying because the grinder makes the morning process much quicker, however, you lose a lot of coffee when we clean it out, because there is often a great deal of ground coffee still in the grinder. We are saving those grounds to see how much we have been losing. 6 beers were filled with grinds. It’s a lot of money.
