It is small. I wanted it to hold more than 2 hamburger patties, but it only holds 2. The old one held less than 4. I like the design, but wish it was bigger. With the price I paid for it, it\’s a shame, I don\’t know how much I\’ll use it.

I have used two separate appliances before. I thought this would be the best feature. The Grill works well, but the Panini Press is hard to use. The sandwich has to be pushed out to close the lid. I have to press the spatula on the side of the sandwich to keep it in the press. The lid is raised so I don’t have a problem with the press.

So far, so good! I’ve used it a few times and the outside of the bread doesn’t get soggy. I like that the press plates can be put into the dishwasher for easy cleaning. It will make 2 sandwiches at the same time, so a decent size. I haven’t used it as a grill yet, just as a panini press, but it does open up completely, so can be used to grill veggies or a burger. It’s a nice addition to my kitchen.
