This is the prettiest kettle ever. I like the design and how fast it warms up. There are blue lights inside. I removed my pot from the base to wash it. I did not plug it in. The pot went straight to heating when I put it back on the base. We can see the systems activity if we pay attention. After each use, I suggest that it be unplugged. It was very well made. It is easy to read the manual. Stay safe and enjoy your kettle.

This is the elite gourmet. The electric honeypot glass kettle with keep warm looks lovely on my kitchen counter and blends perfectly with my other appliance and kitchen decor. It’s the perfect size, not too big, not too small, and it can boil water pretty fast. The water is ready for use when I’m done preparing, and it keeps it warm when I need more time to prepare. I love the temperature control, as I use the water to make formula for my baby, and the temperature is just right. It sits on a base, so it’s not corded, and I take the glads kettle as far as I need and put it back on the base when I’m done, and the safety function is an awesome addition. If there’s no water in the kettle, it will turn off automatically, so I don’t have to check if I left it on. It’s just the perfect addition to our everyday useful gadgets.
