Thought this would be a better coffee pot. But I was wrong, as soon as you take it off it\’s pedestal it shuts off and the coffee starts cooling down. So the next cup of coffee is barley warm. So disappointed, payed way too much for something that really isn\’t a good product in my opinion. But we have used it so were stuck with it.

Black smoke came out of the bottom. We didn’t like that it stopped warming the coffee after we poured the first cup. The blue warming light didn’t stay on very long after hitting the button to restart.

This is a small coffee pot. This pots useful life will be increased by using a Keurig machine less often. Other reviewers applied unkind words to this machine. The sources have to be considered. How old are they, how good are they with household items, and so on. It is important that you read and follow the directions that come with this item as well as anything else you buy that might seem unnecessary but every now and then some trivial piece of information can be obtained by simply reading the instructions that might have otherwise been taken for granted. We all have done it. You don’t know how that goes for some of us. To help out, I offer this. Don’t leave it in when you don’t use it. The instructions to not leave it plugged in when not in use state that there is no switch to stop current flowing to it. It will add years to this neat little coffee pots life if you take that advice. Nice looking to. Light and easy to lift. There are markers inside the pot for how much water to add and how much coffee grounds to put in the strainer. When the coffee is done perking, the indicator light will change to the correct color. When the coffee is done perking, whatever color light is on from the time you sit the pot on the base will be the other color. Very easy. It’s hard to mess this up. You will figure out how to use this pot very quickly if you grew up on coffee. It’s easy to understand for the initiated. If the pot seems heavy, make less coffee next time and if you drink all of it, make another pot. It’s very simple. You’ll love it. I like this type of percolators because they don’t stop perking until you remove it from the heat, and I never knew when to do that. Coffee was always too strong or weak. I never got it right. You or I don’t have a problem with this one. Don’t forget to remove the pot from the base when you’re done. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of not keeping it plugged in once you’re done.

The coffee pot is separate from the plug so it doesn’t get wet, but I just bought my 3rd. It took one in less than 3 years. After less than a year, the pot comes apart and the wires are exposed. The glue holding it together isn’t strong enough. The coffee pot is not on a recall though it should be, because I have reported this problem for the second time. This is the last time I buy this model. They should recall this pot and sod it together.

We received a Perculator in December. It stopped working on January 3, 2021. I returned it because I wanted to give it back. After pouring and replacing the base, the coffee pot does not stay hot. Push the button after each cup to keep the pot on. It was very annoying. I wouldn’t buy this perculator.

The percolator doesn’t keep the coffee warm after it’s been made. The description is not accurate. After pouring the first cup of coffee, the blue light warming feature goes off. The coffee tastes great. The coffee won’t stay warm for long, but I think it’s warm enough to drink. I need to pre-warm the cup and cream before pouring the coffee. The coffee would remain at the brew temperature for at least four hours if the carafe were made like a thermos. This would be a perfect percolator. I bought the percolator because I wanted an electric coffee maker that I could disassemble and clean after use. I don’t like the auto pots with the plastic water basket. I am returning the percolator and using a stove top pot. I hope the reviews reach the manufacturer. You are close. They did not reach the finish line. What happened to the glass liners that kept the contents hot all day? The reference point for making the carafe should be here.
