The Gourmet Food Dehydrator is really nice. I have used it to dry clay crafts. The temperature is easily adjusted from 95 to 158 degrees. I don’t have to worry about removing the rack for bigger pieces when drying my crafts. This machine was easy to figure out. It is easy to clean up. It has good capacity and does not take up much counter space. The 1 year warranty is important. The product is great for the price.

The Elite Gourmet food dehydrationator has a fail and 5 trays. I don’t buy candy anymore, I just use this dehydrator and dry apples, bananas,pineapples, and any other kind of fruit, and fill a bowl with the fruits and snack on it, even my grandkids eat the fruit they think it’s candy, one happy grandma

For my honest review, I received this free. First few things. The product came with all the pieces and the packaging was nice. The directions are easy to understand. How long for what items you want to dehydrate is included in the directions. It was quite compartmental as well. Doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. It will be easy to store away when not in use. I did raspberries for my testing. It was my first time and it was a trial and error. I decided to add powder sugar to make them less acidic. raspberries are very sweet and dry, which is why they are being researched for dehydration. I wanted to make up for that. I should have given more time in the air drying process and I believe the alcohol sugar could have sealed in the berry. The recommended drying time did not result in the final product. I had to continue to drink water. This is a user error. A product error is not a product error. I am going to try rose petals from my garden next. I want to make bath salts and the drippings at the bottom for Christmas gifts. My husband wants to make some food. The price point is very affordable. I have to hand wash the trays. I recommend buying this product. You can experiment with your favorite fruits and flowers.
