I have had a blender for a while. I was upset with this thing. I made a smoothie with fresh and frozen produce. The blades are broken apart from the base, so I would have given it a better review. If you plan on using it daily and with frozen fruits, you can expect it to last only a short time.

I don’t write reviews but I was compelled to post one because of my experience with this blender. I did a lot of research before buying this blender. I didn’t think rust would be an issue since I take care of my things. After a couple months of not using the blender, I tried to use it and the blades wouldn’t turn. The rusty blade piece was obvious due to the lack of movement and rust coloring. The customer service person said my warranty had expired a couple months earlier. She told me that I could buy a new one. I inquired about replacing the blade piece, but was told they don’t do that. I now have $40. A paperweight… The rest still works, just because one small piece failed. Very unfortunate… It was great when it was working. I won’t be buying a Farberware again.

I started drinking and juicing recently. I like the reviews for this blender because I can’t afford a juicer or vita-mix. I liked the features. Since purchasing this, I have used it every day. It does a great job. I’ve put frozen fruit, fresh fruit, ice cubes, and fresh fruit in a mixture. It has done a great job. I’m very happy.

In December, I received this as a gift. It’s just a pain to deal with and I’ve only used it a few times. He has to “work” the blades into a part, then he has to put it on the blender. It’s hard to get all of the pieces screwed on quickly. The metal is already damaged. I’m not sure how this dumb thing got through quality control. Don’t buy.

It was a gift for my sister. She liked having the cup to blend just for herself. All works well. She’s happy!

For grinding lightly roasted almonds, I have only used the Farberware blender a few times. It was easy to handle both. I enjoy the range of controls. The heavy glass pitcher is reminiscent of the days when they really built things.

Many of the more expensive models perform as well as this one. It has a glass jar, which is better than plastic. It has a preprogrammed speed that makes it easy to start and walk away from the process. When the algorithm is done, the blender turns itself off. The only flaw I have found is that the blender has started to leak a bit around the chopping blade shaft after 6 months of use. If you put the blade mechanism in the dishwasher or allow water to accumulate on it, the shaft and gear will start to rust and eventually leak.

The first thing I tried was ice. To see if it works. It pulverized them on the low setting because they were 1/3 inch thick. There is snow cone material. I have yet to use the high speed. Bob, Allot of Torque. Allot of strength. It’s not a problem to make dressings out of nuts. There is a problem with Smoothies. I chop up carrots and apples and make a drink out of it. Fruits are used for fruit leather. Done. I chop up my food products like an apple go’s in half twice and a chop along the equator. The stems are 1 to 2 inches. If not dried right away, the mechanism on the bottom outside will get a bit of rust. It was wiped off for me. Immediately after use, I hand wash and dry. I went in the dishwasher once. I don’t wash the blender often because I don’t put good knives in the DW. Have not tried the go cup. I don’t know about that. It’s a little beast and can’t beat the price. They want a lot for them, but I don’t think SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA is SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA SALVAGEDATA Not interested in the Ninja.

The blender is great. You can’t go wrong buying it. It does it all. I’ve spent a lot of time shopping around and reviewing blenders, and this one is my choice. The top of the line stuff was looked at by me. Too much money, too much power, and too much hype. The mid-range stuff was like Ninja, Krups, KitchenAid and Breville. These games are played with plastic containers and questionable quality. The true judge of horse power is Watts. Hamilton Beach makes a good 700 watt blender at $25 but has lost its flair for quality design in looks and in features. The saleslady in MySaveMall told me that Farberware made it for the store. Farberware did well. This baby is very pleasing to the eyes and looks good on my kitchen counter because it has engineering and design quality and trendy style. It takes up too much space at 16. x 8 The measurement is 5 x *. There is 2. The high end blenders look like giant steriod machines. 800 watt of power is more than enough for home use except for crushing nuts and bolts, which is what the Farberware does. ThePulse feature helps the motor start without straining too much and jars the blades loose when the container gets bogged down or overloads. It automatically slows down in any of the low, medium or high speeds and then restarts. It reduces strain on the motor when it counts the most and it also gives a better mixture in the container by letting the stuff on top sink to the bottom. The gears are made of metal. I suggest spraying some WD 40 lubricant on the connections where the base and container meet to prevent rust problems from dishwashers and washing. It’s glass container should not be underestimated. The industry is moving away from glass and into plastic for safety reasons. Bunk! Plastic is cheaper. It looks cheaper. It absorbs odors and colors. It’s true that a glass pitcher looks better and feels better. The travel cup has an added value. The 2 year warranty is important, but it might be cheaper to just buy a new one if you ever have an unforeseen problem. The price is the last and final top quality thing. The price is $40. The baby is being put through drills. I’m happy that I chose the right blender, at the right price.
