I saw this coffee maker and really liked the design since it resembles a much higher model i no longer have. I was excited to try this coffee maker out but was soon let down when it made a very weak pot of coffee. Another thing that is aggravating is that when you remove the carafe water comes out from behind the filter basket and drips on the hot plate. The would be a nice machine if they had a way to adjust the brew strength or slow the brewing down. If you like brown water then this machine is for you but if you want coffee steer clear of this one. This review is not of a machine that was given to me for a review like 95 percent of the other reviews on here.

If you know anything about coffee, you know that high temperature, slow-drip brew is the only way to go. Coffee makes tend to be very expensive. We own two that cost more than $200. I saw this at $60. I decided to buy a one for my sister. The water is brought to a boil, the coffee grounds are steep, and the water drips slowly. I can still tell a difference between this one and ours, but it’s not so huge that I wouldn’t be happy with it. It is a huge upgrade from a traditional coffee maker. Definitely recommend.

The max high temp coffee machine is pretty good. A coffee basket and scoop are included. It has a carafe with a plastic lip. The water cannot be removed. You are good to go if you put water and coffee in.
