I like the design and large capacity. It takes a bit longer to get to the boiling point, but it’s annoying.

The paint was scratched. The plastic bottom is cheap and flimsy. When pouring the kettle, the hand was burnt from the steam. The smell is funny.

The tea kettle has a large amount of water in it. The retro appearance is perfect for those with vintage, cottage, or farmhouse tastes. The construction of the model is solid and the black is a true deep black. Even at its full capacity. The water heats up fast. I bought this for my husband, who already migrated to the “man cave”. It’s hard to find this kettle in black, so if you find it at a good price, grab it. My review only covers the tea kettle. There is a completely different story being told by the seller. I am fortunate my package arrived intact without any damage because of the poor shipping tracking and the fact that the kettle was shipped in its actual retail box. I would not buy from this seller again.

I like it. I wanted to replace a white electric kettle because all my kitchen appliances are white. I wanted a kettle. This looked good, but there were limited choices. It holds under 2 L. The predecessor sat and did exactly what I wanted, it boiled up fast with a shut off.
