I looked around a lot, and this is far superior to anything else in terms of price / features. Every other competitor was nearly twice the price and more. And this one, while half the price, doesn’t feel like a compromise at all, It’s as well-made and attractive as its far more expensive competitors.

I bought this for my husband and in the few days we’ve had it it’s been used several times. Heats water very quickly. The size is just perfect. We have a french press coffee maker and can make coffee for him, tea for me, and even an instant soup for the kiddo all on one kettles worth.
I love the auto shut off feature since hubby tends to forget things, and the fact that it separates from the base (and thus the cord) it is very convenient. The heating element is completely sealed away from the water chamber, so cleaning will never be an issue. I’d recommend this to anyone in need of a kettle.
We are getting rid of our regular coffeemaker (which seems to take about 25 minutes even after being cleaned and descaled). This thing boils water in 3-4 minutes (the whole 1.7 liters) and with a 5 minute steep time, the press gets us coffee faster and better. This kettle has made all the difference.

This kettle does the job just fine. It boils the water quick and has a nice design that looks nice in a kitchen. I like that it is made of metal and not plastic.
I took one star off the features because of a very, very short power cord. It seems to be shorter than one foot. I wish it was longer, but it is not a big trouble either.

After about two years of good service, a GE electric kettle shorted out at the base and I bought this kettle to replace it. The old red light on the on/off switch is replaced by a bright blue one. The water fill gauge behind the handle can be hard to read due to condensation and the fact that GE chose white markings instead of a more visible color. The max fill marking line was changed by applying a red decals to the water gauge. If you want to make it easier to read, you can lift the kettle and tilt it to clear the condensation in the fill gauge. It’s a bit noisier than my old electric kettle, but it’s able to boil the water quickly. It is used several times a day to satisfy my tea habit.

We take good care of our appliances. We have had 3 electric kettles over the years. This is the worst we have owned. Poorly made. After 4 months, the automatic shut off stopped working. The lid broke when I cleaned the inside of the pot. Will not be buying it again in the future.

The kettle does a great job of heating up water quickly. Push the button and the water will be reheated. I didn’t give it a 5 because of two reasons. The kettle shuts itself off once the water is boiling. When the water is hot, you have to heat it up again. The kettle is on the base. It feels strange, yet this has never caused me any problems.

I bought this for my guy for Christmas, as he loves tea but we didn’t have a kettle for him to boil water in. I settled on this kettle because of the good reviews and the fact that it was within my budget. Let me tell you that it hasn’t disappointed you. The water is boiled in under 5 minutes. It’s perfect for his tea. I use this to boil water for Jello and to get water for noodles to boil faster in my oven. This is one of the best extras we’ve had. It’s a must have for anyone who needs boiled water. That’s right.

It’s easy to operate! We don’t have to remember because the water shuts off quickly. There is an easy to read water level window and a large thick cool handle. There are a lot of good things about this kettle. Would recommend anyone! Can’t get any simpler than this kettle. We use it many times a day.

I have a kettle that I use to heat water for my tea. I don’t like heating a cup of water in the microwave for tea because the water gets foamy-looking and it’s hard to get the temperature hot enough without getting it too hot. The kettle looks great and it does a great job of heating to the right temperature. It’s safer than boiling water in a pot on the stove because it turns itself off when the water is just right.

I had an electric kettle for three years but it died and I bought a GE electric kettle. A handsome kettle heats up quickly and stays warm for a while. It leaves the base and has a shut off switch. I use mine to heat water for baby bottles several times a day. I love it!
