I bought this as a replacement to the family size Forman Fat Grilling Machine I\’ve had for years. This one is no where near as good as my old one. It\’s more narrow, same length, but there is no on or off timer dial, and no temperature setting. It cooks one temp and you have to plug it in and unplug it to use it, or not. It also has a cord about a foot in length, which is way too short to reach my plug behind my well used toaster oven. The top part does not raise up on hinges to lay flat on the food for even cooking the way my other machine did. I cooked chicken and the top sat up at a 45 degree angle when it touched the chicken, so that the front top half did not cook with the rest of it. I had to flip it over placing the undercooked side toward the back of the grill to cook, and by the time it was done the rest was over done and dry. Not at all happy with this machine.

Absolutely love the grills. Have used them for a long time. The grill surface was larger but the price was right and can be used in place of our outdoor grill for meats and vegetables. If you want to eliminate excess cooking fats from your diet, I would highly recommend it. The grill marks are the same.
