The manual states that they\’ve made the cord short so it won\’t get tangled, but if it\’s too short you need to use an extension cord. Some people can\’t figure out how to untangle their cords.

We don’t like the unlock button. It’s just me, my husband, and teen son in the house, so it’s pretty annoying. If you have small children, this feature will keep them from opening the door and spilling something hot on them. The red and blue displays built into the microwave can’t be seen by us. We had to see the buttons. They are hard to see on the display in the kitchen. If I had seen those things, I wouldn’t have bought it. We needed a microwave after our old one quit, so we are making do with it. The black and silver steel together is attractive in our kitchen. The three main operating buttons on the bottom of the microwave are the biggest improvement the company could make.
