My mother gave this to me as a Christmas present because I drink a lot of tea. It’s not as pretty or fancy as other ones, but it’s simple and does its job. I like the water windows because I can see when the water is boiling or when I need to shut it off. It’s a nice black color that doesn’t get dirty and it’s a hard plastic that holds together great. The switch turns off when it’s supposed to. It’s as simple as you can make it if you’re a first timer like me.

We are happy with this kettle. We all drank more tea, but it took a long time to boil the water on the stove. The water in the Hamilton Beach Kettle is so hot that when we get a teabag, the water is already boiling. The kettle has an automatic shut off, and it is so fast that it is incredible. ramen noodles, coffee, hot chocolate and soups are some of the menu items that can be boiled water for. It makes sense to keep it on the counter. The pitcher lifts off the base for easy pouring is a feature I like.

The kettle pours water with no drips or spills. I love it! We both love it, I got one for myself and my boyfriend. I can put enough in for two cups or a large pot. I highly recommend. I was going to spend $200 on a Kitchenaid kettle but changed my mind and went with this one. I’m very happy that I did.

After many years of service, my previous water kettle broke and had a hidden heating coil. This one is not hidden. It may be interesting to keep it clean since you can see the coil when you lift the lid. I took it out of the box and tested it. I will probably have to clean it by soaking it in a solution of water and vinegar because of the hard water in Texas.

The kettle is durable and can heat water to the perfect temperature. You don’t have to wait for the water to cool because you can drink it immediately. The design keeps the water warm for a while. I use the kettle to brew coffee. The water doesn’t need to be reheated when I finish my first cup.

The light on the kettle doesn’t light up when the water is boiling. There were loose, black plastic particles that were released and swirled around in the boiling water when I first used it. It was sold to me as new. It will not be possible to return from MySaveMall again.
