I am a tool freak. In the kitchen. I need the right tool for the job. A hand mixer is useful. I wouldn’t buy the 25 watt model with the switch on the side. A 200 watt motor is what this one has. I wanted it to make malts. The wife used to own a drugstore style malt machine. It didn’t last long. This will do more than that. It has a chopper and puree attachment. It is possible to whip cream or egg whites in a glass. You can remove the gravy or vegetables from the soup stock. No problem. It’s easier to clean up when I do it in the pot. The attachment is not dishwasher safe but you can turn it on by dipping it in your dish water. Clean quickly. One reviewer said that they couldn’t get out of the trap. If you immerse it for extended periods, the chopper might work. I do not immerse the end that is attached to the handle. I don’t allow gadgets to be dirty. I use it, wash it, pull the attachment off the handle, and rinse it off. Put it on the drain board. Done!

I made pumpkin pies with the help of the blender. The first blend was a success. The motor stopped working after 30 seconds after I used it again. I returned the product because I didn’t like it. I bought a Cusinart with a 3 year warranty. I wouldn’t recommend this appliance.

Only one of the two speed options worked. After the hi speed option didn’t work anymore, I have to return it and buy a different product.

It was a real surprise to see this blender. I mashed a huge pot of mashed potatoes. It comes apart for cleaning. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because it was plastic on the bottom. The control button is easy to use and it is powerful.
