this was my first stand mixer and i love it , it preformed better than i expected ,this would be a must have for the holidays when making multiple pies and cakes only thing missing would be a built in timer

Works pretty good. I have never owned one before and I didn\’t know how much I would really use it, that is why I decided to NOT purchase an expensive kitchenaid. I\’ve used it 5 times in 2 weeks and it is nice to just have this thing stirring away while I am measuring another ingredient or doing something else. Seems to bog down sometimes and I didn\’t feel it whisks eggs as well as a hand mixer would have.

I purchased the unit to make marshmallows, which are test to any mixer, as they get tougher as they whip up (for 10-12 minutes). While I was waiting the arrival of my mixer/ being shipped, I borrowed my neighbors Kitchenaid to make a few batches in the meantime. The motor overheated and began to smell like burnt wire. I was not impressed, as the Kitchenaid was $200 more at the store!!! Just goes to show: Apparently it\’s not \”all in a name\”, or an overrated pricepoint !
On the contrary, my Hamilton Beach outshines, and outdoes the opponent, outright. Just keeps going strong. No overheating, no burning smell. No lag on the motor.
I can\’t say enough and how happy I am with this product.

The motor can\’t mix dough when mixing french bread, but it works great so far. It works well for lighter mixes. I don\’t think you can beat the price.

I have never used a stand-up mixer. It is difficult to hold a hand mixer and a bowl at the same time as I am physically challenged. I was hesitant to buy a less expensive model as I thought it wouldn’t meet my needs, as I cook and bake a lot. My hand mixer can’t stir 4 cream cheese packets all at once, but I love my red machine because it has a powerful motor. It was the first time adding flour. That’s power. The design is not taking up a lot of space. The rubber on the counter sticks to it. The cost makes me happy. I did something right for the first time.

I like this mixer. It has the same features as a high priced one. It works well and is very quiet. It’s easy to operate.

The selection dial was poor. Even when not in use, it randomly turned on. I was concerned with the way the power dial was configured. Returned and upgraded.

It’s great for everyone, especially those in a wheelchair. Are you aware that your 80 year old grandmother used to bake her own bread? Now she can do it again. 1c hot tap water, sugar, oil, salt, flour, and active dry yeast. The yeast and 1 cup flour are not included in the mix. Add the yeast and mix. Add flour and mix until a smooth ball forms. The coat should be raised 1 hour. Put the dough hook in the bread pan and raise it. You can bake until golden. I am in a wheelchair and can’t stand up. Works well. The bread recipe shows how powerful the motor is. I use this to make patties. :o)

I make a lot of bread. I was tired and needed something. This is a great machine that gives you a rest.

My old two-beater machine did not have the mixing capability of this unit. It’s hard to add ingredients because there’s not much room between the bowl and the top of the mixer. It was a bit noisy and smelled like hot plastic when I first used it. A KitchenAid is on my wish list. It is an upgrade from my old mixer and I look forward to making better batches of cookie dough in the future.

It works well and the price is very competitive. It is recommended.

During the time I have owned the Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer, I have made corn bread, mash potatoes, coffee cake, and sweet dinner rolls. When I first saw the Hamilton Beach Mixer, I had doubts about how it would work. I thought that it was going to break in a matter of months. After using the Hamilton Beach for the last 2 weeks, I am confident that I have a durable peace of equipment on my hands. My old 300 watt Kitchen Aid Mixer and my mother’s 350 watt Kitchen Aid Mixer were both used when I was kneading bread at the Hamilton Beach. My suggestion for this particular machine is not to knead dough that calls for more than 3 1/2 to 4 cups of flour at a time, just to be on the safe side… I have no issues with the Hamilton Beach and would like to give another review after six months of use.

I like this mixer. I’ve never been a baker, but this makes it so easy and it’s small so it doesn’t take a lot of counter space. I love it!

The mixer has three different attachments. The bowl is locked into place so it doesn’t spin. I couldn’t be happier with the results of the bread and cookie recipes we’ve made. If you want a stand mixer but don’t want to shell out hundreds of dollars, this is the one for you. I am very happy with my purchase.

It was delivered by FedEx on Saturday after I ordered it on Thursday. Do not order this if you think it will be as fast and heavy duty as the Kitchen-Aid. It is not as fast as the 12 speeds, but it is an excellent buy. If you bake for a living, you should go with a 12 speed, but for the regular home baker, this is a wonderful little mixer. Since purchase, I have mixed pretzel rolls, brownies, cookies, muffins and a cake. The pretzel rolls called for 4 cups of flour and never had a problem with stalling. The cup feet work well. My kids like to put the ingredients in the bowl and watch it mix. Light weight. I don’t like how the attachments come off. Sometimes pulling them straight down results in batter on the counter or banging you hand. For apprx. $70 can be overlooked.

As Homer Simpson would say, “Doh!”, because this is the cheapest one with “Planetary Mixing” and Amazon has it for about $75. You can buy 5 of theses for the price of 1 KitchenAid, but if you want to mix a lot, you’d better save for the kitchenAid. I suppose it’s better to get the job done right. I returned it and am looking for a used KitchenAid, which is 3 times more expensive than the new one.

I have always wanted a stand mixer but didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so when I saw this one I decided to buy it. I have not been disappointed. It works like a charm to me. The beaters mix well. I don’t make bread so I don’t know how well that attachment works, but it looks like it would do a good job. It was very SATISFIED!

I’ve used the KitchenAid before and it’s the only thing I don’t like about it, the hinge piece jumps up and down a ton while mixing a chocolate chip cookie recipe. It is a wash as long as it lasts.

I’m glad I bought this mixer. It was very easy to use. My hands are free to add ingredients when the mixer is going on it’s own because the blender does the mixing.

Great product. When I began using the mixer, I realized it did the job quickly and efficiently. It’s easy to clean, it’s easy to store, and it’s not oversized. I would recommend this mixer to anyone.

I sold my Kitchen Aid large mixer because it became too heavy for me to handle, but the Hamilton Beach mixer will serve me well. I only made one cake with it and found out about the mix’s flaws right away, but I know that I will do a better job of adding products the next time. It seems like a good product for the money and lighter weight.

You don’t need a kitchen aid if you have a basic system. A basic to the point mixer will get the job done. It does not take up a lot of space because it looks good on the counter. I have only had it a couple of weeks and have only made pizza dough in it and the mixer has done well so far, I am glad I got it for about 140 less than the kitchen aid I was going to buy. Try it out and see if you like it.
