We love it! The last one we made was very quiet and simple to use. The only problem with this is that the clock doesn’t light up, and when I pull the unit out, to fill and finish getting ready to brew, my hand keeps hitting the spot to change coffee from reg. I keep changing it. Its perfect except for those minor flaws.

I really like this coffee pot. It’s very easy to use. They thought about everything. You can easily take the coffee filter out with the push knob. I use disposable filters to clean there. I like the ability to pre program what time you want it to brew. Coffee is the best thing to wake up to.

It seems to be a good quality. It is easy to fill with water. I recommend using two hands to pour the carafe because the handle is not strong enough to hold it. The coffee was made in a short amount of time. The grounds spilled over the edge of the pot when it was made for 12 cups. I had to remove the coffee from the jar. I’ll just brew it for the 10 cups now.

I have always been pleased with the products from Hamilton Beach. Not this time. The basket, which does not sit flat but has a spring on the bottom, is cheap. Who knows what? The lid does not close smoothly. Water beads up while making coffee and then sits there all day like a humid shower and will accumulate smells. It’s a good thing that I have it handy. It was disappointing all the way around.

I liked this coffee maker very much. The coffee didn’t burn after sitting on the hot plate. It stopped working correctly after 8 days. I would end up with 10 cups of coffee if I tried to brew 12 cups. I would end up with 7 if I tried to brew 9 cups. I don’t know where the water went. I think it turned into steam. I will never buy a Hamilton Beach coffee maker again.
