You might have to wiggle it to turn it on. This is not a good tea maker. Don’t buy it.

Iced tea is good. I don’t like iced coffee so haven’t tried it. I wouldn’t use the footprint in the refrigerator because it takes up too much room on the counter. I keep another pitcher in the fridge. I preferred my husband. After several years of good service, the Coffee Iced Tea Maker quit, but couldn’t find another like it. I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend.
