Since I am on special diet now I was looking for an appliance that was easy to use and easy to clean. I have gone through 3 Foreman grills and the surface doesn\’t hold up well to scrubbing and since they plates were not removable, it was a pain to clean. This works well and cleans up easily.

This is a nice grill. For two or three people, it’s great for a couple of burgers, chicken strips, steaks or whatever. It warms up very fast. It is easy to clean when it comes apart quickly. The plastic tray is a little warped after a few uses, so I am giving it 4 stars. This grill is convenient for winter grillers like me who don’t want to brave the cold. It’s easy to store and doesn’t take up a lot of room. This is a grill that I would recommend.

I have used this item many times since I received it a month ago. The cooking grate cooks quickly. The grate top is easy to clean with the copper non-stick coating, but the bottom takes a little more attention to clean. The cover was easy to remove, but hard to clean. There was some heat damage to the middle of the lid. The heat problem on the edges of the lid could be mitigated with a design upgrade. The grease catch under the grill plate is adequate for the cooking that I did. There are burgers, steaks, and chicken. It is a good appliance.

I tried everything to get that bbq grill flavor inside. Cast iron skillets are never the same. The reviews said this is like outside bbq without the char burnt taste. I will return it if I don’t like it. The new design with ceramic grill is very easy to use. It’s easy to clean up. It says you can throw it in the dishwasher but that takes up too much room for me and is so much faster sticking it under the faucet and with a sponge the grill comes clean with very little scrubbing. I rinse and do it again with a little Dawn. I clean the lid the same way I clean the grill. I empty the tray into the recycle and clean it the same way. I didn’t remember the last time I found something that satisfied me. That is the reason for the 5 stars.

The grid is the heating element in this grill. For easy clean up, breaks down. I don’t think it’s a big deal, you can get 6 hamburgers on it. The grill produces very little smoke and the closing of the lid reduces the amount of smoke it makes. I can’t grill on outside grills anymore because of COPD, this was a great alternative.
