I wanted to brew coffee with the Hamilton Beach French Press. The coffee was good, but I didn’t like the appliance. It was difficult to switch the cocoa blade with the coffee filter. After letting the coffee steep, the hot water cooled and the coffee waslukewarm. Coffee isn’t practical because it doesn’t stay hot in the unit. The same comments will be made with tea and hot cocoa.

If you have never tried a French press, you are in for a treat. The best coffee you can afford is recommended by me. I’ve used the French press at a friend’s house. My next press will be HB. You get a smooth cup without the bitterness associated with other ways to prepare. The press was sturdy and had a great filter. The press is comparable to others on the market that have higher prices.
