The meaning of a sandwich has been changed by using the panini press. It is easy to clean up. After using this, you can’t just eat a sandwich again. This is similar to a restaurant specialty sandwich. I went out and got my daughter one because I liked the one we got for Christmas. My husband is happy because he gets his reuben sandwich all the time.

It’s so much fun to use! We were looking for an alternative to eating out. We love sandwiches and thought this would be a great addition. You can get those nice grill lines with the help of a knob on the side. There is no stick. It was quick to use. The cheese is melty. It needs to be cleaned quickly with a damp paper towel.

I decided to buy a panini maker of my own after having one at a local bagel place. I chose the Hamilton Beech Maker because it was cheap and had good recommendations. I didn’t know how much I would use it. The panini maker makes sandwiches exciting. My kids like grilled cheese sandwiches better than grilled cheese paninis. It cooks quickly and evenly, and is very easy to clean. I don’t use the microwave anymore. I can’t recommend this maker enough.

The store price was even lower when I received it. The difference was credited to me. If your sandwich is left in longer, it won’t burn if the grill marks are left for a short time. It gets crispier. There isn’t an on/off switch. It’s not really necessary. Plug it in. The slide is not smooth. It took a couple of days to figure out how to lower the top. Push or pull the slide to assist the handle as you raise and lower. For a couple dollars more, I can get a simple sandwich press that will do two sandwiches. The ideas are endless if you get creative. No butter is required and the tortillas are very soft. I like flour tortilla calzones. Within the first month, I have used it three to four times per week.
