This was the only style I could find that was insulated. It is quite good. The aluminum is hard to clean. I liked glass inside the Krups I had. It is almost impossible to pour without dripping.

It seems to work well, I have only used it twice. Have not used to drink from mugs. It’s not easy to fill using a carafe. If you want to keep coffee hot for longer, you should fill the carafe with hot water. The prior design made pouring the spout on the carafe easier.

When I found this machine, I knew it was the perfect solution because my husband and I couldn’t agree more on coffee. On the weekend when I want more than one cup of coffee, the carafe is nice, and the split basket is perfect for one travel mug each of our own coffee. I use my own travel mug in the morning instead of the one that came with the machine, and it drips just fine, no mess. The carafe keeps my coffee very warm – in fact, this machine brews hotter coffee than any other machine we’ve ever had. Always looking for the perfect coffee pot. If you want your brew to be ready when you get up in the morning, you can set it to be ready at night. It’s an excellent value, good quality, and worth the money.

I bought this for the idea of a travel mug. The thermal carafe can’t keep coffee hot. When I go to get another cup, it isluke warm. The travel mugs are bad to wash. If you empty all the water out, they start to smell. I will be filling my own travel mug when I return to the standard coffee machine.

The machine seems to be doing well so far. Short heating/brewing cycle and caraffe keep liquid hot for a long time. The pour-through lid is more convenient than the ones you have to open. It was hard to find one in my area. I was happy with my purchase after ordering on-line.

The style of the product made us like it, as well as the 2 mugs to go. It has to be over the sink because it leaks everywhere. It doesn’t keep coffee hot so we have to microwave it. Like the other reviewer, I am on line looking for another one. I will have to get a bunn at double the price again.

Coffee does not stay hot for more than one hour when pouring. The appearance is great. I wouldn’t buy this pot again. I only use it when the company arrives and we use the coffee within a few minutes.

The machine made great coffee but it didn’t last long, the lid can be difficult to put into place, and the pot leaks most times when pouring coffee into a cup. The machine makes a great tasting pot of coffee, but many online reviews state the same problems.

I have had a coffeemaker for about a month. It’s off once it’s done making the coffee, since it uses a thermal carafe or mugs. It was hot when I fell asleep, but it was nice when I woke up. I haven’t used the optional water filter yet, but it’s easy to clean and maintain. Coffee tastes great in spite of the hard water in northern NJ. There is no way to sneak a cup without making a mess, and a site glass would be better than those crazy numbers on the inside. I haven’t had it all that long, so I can’t speak on durability. The fact that my local store honored a sale price that was still on the shelf didn’t hurt either. You could get a better coffeemaker, but why? This unit could be a lot worse. Would I recommend this unit? It’s easy to use, easy to clean, makes great coffee, and it looks good too. I’m sounding like a commercial. What are you waiting for?

I love the features of this machine and have not had any spills down the carafe when pouring with the pour tab held down. The coffee is very hot and the mugs keep it that way for a long time. I have a bad back, neck, and problems with my wrists if I hold heavy objects, and have had no problems using this carafe. Even with larger hands, I can access the water tank, the carafe, and the mugs. I would give this to people I know.

The product we bought a year ago started leaking when you poured the coffee. Over time, this got worse. The coffee doesn’t stay hot very long. The coffee wasluke warm when it was filled with the carafe. For $70. This is not worth it. I’ve had $25. Black and deckers worked better. I wanted to try out the thermal carafe design. Live and learn.

The product leaks every time you pour it. We had burnt plastic after every 4th or 5th time we brew. Not worth the money. On our next trip to Wal-mart, we’ll be taking this product back.

This coffee pot is what I wanted and I am happy with it. Even though I am the only coffee drinker, the travel thermals are great. It saves on wasted coffee if you make a single serving cup of coffee. I enjoy a hot cup of coffee without burning my mouth since it’s not steaming hot like some would like. When severing many coffees to guests, the canister is great because it keeps the coffee hot for a long time. The image shown here has the same name as mine. I think the looks have changed since I got it. I did not buy it from Wal-mart.

The coffee maker worked well. The carafe started leaking after being used daily for a couple of weeks. We got a new one, the exact same model, after taking that one back. It started leaking after being used for a short time. A new carafe was sent to us after we contacted the company. It leaks as well. We’re going to get our money back and never buy a Hamilton Beach product again.
