I bought this for my daughters birthday & she loves it. Said it works really great. She got it in time for it to be a great present. Did not take long at all.

Was so glad the unit arrived so quickly, the case is nice and sturdy and has a good presentation, however the blender head cracked after second use. It is powerful and blends well, but now I am afraid to use it. I don\’t want to start a recipe and wind up with plastic in the mix. Will be returning.

I bought this model for my daughter because I was looking for an older model that worked better. She used the whisk first and it did a great job, she uses the others now and I have no complaints at all.

I have tried many and returned all of them. Unless you are an experimenter, don’t bother. I tried several big names and they are not functional. I’ve had 4 of them. They are perfect for what they are designed for. The frozen berries I tried to grind were like ice. It worked for about a week before it broke. It says a lot about the motor that it never got hot or smoked. After buying 2, I realized my mistake and haven’t used it on frozen things. I had 4 because I burned one up in a foreign country, with anadapter from Bed, Bath, and Beyond, which didn’t work as designed. My fourth has been working for over a year. Don’t change the design. It is unique to the industry, where materialflows through the head can be done quickly and easily. And that’s it. These guys have the market design that other brands can’t. Don’t change the design, please.

Over the past 30 years, I have had several Hamilton Beach immersion blenders. I liked all of them so I bought this model. I am not happy with the wand portion of the blender. The designers made the wand plastic with “air pockets” where the bell portion meets the column of the wand. The housing around the blade and shaft is plastic. That isn’t completely clear with the “specs” describing the product. It’s possible that it’s a Hamilton Beach immersion blender, like so many others. My other immersion blenders all hadstainless steel wands, the exception being the 1st one that I purchased 30 years ago. There is water in the air pocket of this model’s wand. It’s the worst thing ever. I can’t get out of the wand with the water in it. I am supposed to be able to immerse it, but for the life of me, I will not use it to mix anything. Nothing. It will never happen. Again. I really like the H and it’s disappointing. B. The brand. I replaced this one with a stainless steel model. The models are all slightly different so neither of my wands fit this model. I now have an electric whisk. The Kitchen Aid stand mixer is better for whisking than a hand held one. I have a paperweight. I hope that Hamilton Beach will rethink their use of plastic because it ends up being unsanitary due to the trapped water. I haven’t used the wand in more than 2 months. There is a pocket of brown/ gray liquid in it.

I made pumpkin pies with the help of the blender. The first blend was a success. The motor stopped working after 30 seconds after I used it again. I returned the product because I didn’t like it. I bought a Cusinart with a 3 year warranty. I wouldn’t recommend this appliance.

I have encountered some significant issues with the design of the hand blender I recently purchased. Water easily leaks through the lid of the Chopper, creating an environment prone to spoilage and unpleasant odors. I’m concerned about potential hygiene issues because of the flaw that has made the cleaning process difficult. I’m considering returning the product. I hope the return process is easy to navigate.
