I’ve been using this for a few days and I love it. I’ve been wanting an espresso maker but didn’t want to commit to the expense of an elaborate machine, so a friend told me about these pots. I originally intended to purchase the 3 cup pot, but decided on the 6 cup and am happy I did. The vent hole has a 6 cup water capacity. I yield approx 3 serving using my 2, but I’m not sure how much water is lost. There are 7oz espresso cups that serve me alone. The word cup is sometimes used to describe an espresso glass serving, but not a cup by volume of 8oz.
