Since most of the reviews didn’t notice the smell, I decided to give it a try. The smell is terrible. I have washed the basket, run the fryer through several cycles, and my house still smells from it. The plastic chemical smell is strong even when the unit is not in use. This is not toxic according to the manual. Why would the item be released in the first place? I don’t trust any company that releases this in the market and asks me to take their word for it that it’s safe. I will be returning.

The thing works well for french fries and onion rings, but I’m not happy with how it works with chicken. I just did a good size chicken quarter at the recommendation and part of it was still raw after the suggested cook time. The tendercrisps I tossed in looked burned and weren’t appetizing in appearance. The point of deep frying to me is speed and evenness. This thing doesn’t offer anything. If you can only cook one thing at a time, there’s no point in a large cooking chamber. Go greasy or save your money. My expectations were too high.

I have been using the Air Fryer a lot since I got it a few weeks ago. It’s perfect for a family of 4 or 5 and not take a lot of counter space. I am very impressed by the quality of the product. The large digital display and black finish make it sophisticated. The touch buttons are part of the display. The central control panel is easy to use. The central dial can be used to set the temperature and time. The functional aspect of the product is very good. The fryer is not loud. The food can be made very delicious by using a small amount of oil. The food is good. The product can be used to reheat food. It’s a better option than using a microwave. The pan is large enough to bake a family size cake. This is an important part of my kitchen.

I have an air fryer. I made french fries a number of times. They are addictive. I use one or two potatoes, peel, soak in water for 20 minutes, drain out excess water with a paper towel, add olive oil, salt and pepper and turn on the fryer which I set to 400 degrees and time of 18 minutes. I don’t know how this machine can make french fries that are as good as restaurant fries. You can just wipe down the rest of the house with a wet paper towel because there’s one little tray to wash. Sometimes the little tray inside the bucket can burn your hand if it falls out when I pour the fries into a bowl. There is a little loop to pull it out but nothing to hold it down. It is quiet, so using in an apartment is fine. I don’t know what to use it for. The french fries are amazing.

I did not compare the air fryer to the instapot air fryer. It didn’t like the way it was cooked. The basket can’t be flipped over to empty out the food because the bottom insert burns you.

I have been looking for an Air Fryer for a long time. I got my air fryer plugged in and learned how to use it with the included instructions, but I didn’t use it for a while. I have realized that I can make a lot of it in after experimenting with it a few times. I like the features of 4 built in smart programs and the 8 touch controls, they are easy to read and light up. I have made many things, including home fries, hamburger buns, hot wings, and more. It takes little to no oil. Making it easy to clean up. To get rid of oil, you don’t have to dump it into a container. The basket is easy to clean. If you’re looking for new recipes, they have an app for your phone. I use the machine a few times a week to do a lot of things. I’m glad I went with the air fryer.
