This is my fourth Keurig. And like the other three, they started having problems after the first year of ownership. Mine was working perfectly for a little over a year. I went out of town and turned off the machine while I was gone. When I returned and turned it back on, the water does not heat and automatically goes straight through the machine and empties the entire tank. The heating button immediately turns on but does not heat and no other prompt can be brought forward.

I am a fan of the coffee maker. I was hoping the maker could be used for my office. The first two times I used it there was an odor, but now it’s gone. It can be noisy, but it takes so little time to brew a cup of coffee that the noise is hardly more than a small annoyance. I don’t make trips to the water cooler because I have plenty of water.

When it pumps water, my wife can hear it from 3 rooms away, but the door is closed. There is an air compressor in the garage. The keurig that was replaced is 6 years old. If we get tired of the noise in the kitchen, I might hang on to it.

I like the way the unit looks in our kitchen and I got the best deal. The one we had was mostly black. The worst noise in the kitchen is this one. I wonder if something is wrong with the unit. Our original one was given to a family member and we wish we still had it. The unit performs like it is suppose to. The noise and vibration it creates is not very good.

We’ve had ours over six years, and still going, but we’re going to purchase a new one because of the scale build up in our reservoir. I was upset that my wife paid that much for a coffee maker because I am the only one who drinks coffee at our house most of the time. I am more than satisfied with the time, coffee options, convenience, and ability to have a large cup of coffee in just a few minutes without any waste after 6 years. If our kids come up to visit, we can have some of the more special blends available for them and I can still have my regular coffee. You won me over!

The worst coffee maker on the market is this one. I have to descale every other week after purchaced this. I can get a few cups of coffee before I have to do it again. There is water in a stream. Wait an hour and you still have a slow stream. Do not recommend a coffee machine.
