   I was happy with this purchase until it stopped working suddenly. The manual does not have any instructions as to what to do.
   It will not boil the water, It gives 3 flashes and 3 strange beeps when it is tuned on. I do not know what to do.

   The Tea Kettle has a variety of features. It does not take up a lot of counter space. It’s double as a kettle and tea pot. You can see the brew strength in the clear glass.

   I like this kettle. The temperature settings for different types of tea are amazing. It doesn’t take much time for it to get to full temperature, since I mostly drink herbal teas and they are the highest temperature setting. It’s almost like an elevator reaching the correct floor with the mildly toned “bing” noise when the machine turns on and multiple “bings” when it turns off. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I think it’s great that it’s optional, you don’t have to have it in if you aren’t using it. When you lift the kettle off, the base doesn’t slide all over the place. The only thing I don’t like is the lid. I’m a little concerned that it will pop out when I’m pouring hot liquid because it has a ring that seems to push the lid out a bit. It hasn’t happened yet, but I’m very cautious.    I’m a KitchenAid employee and this is one of the first products I’ve bought as an employee, and it’s now my favourite. This kettle is so easy and fun to use that I drink more liquid because it looks wicked on my island. I can easily make the transition from boiling water to steeping tea by setting the temperature. Happy employee.

   I bought this yesterday. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t turn off automatically. If I am not in the kitchen, I don’t remember rushing to it all the time. If it is a flaw, send an email to kitchenaid and hope they fix it. I don’t recommend buying this one if you need lower temps. The price I paid was not worth it. This review was part of a promotion. )

   Two weeks ago, I bought this for my wife. She likes this kettle. The temperatures are perfect for different types of tea. Can’t go wrong with this product.

   The heated water tasted off on the first day after thorough washes. When boiled at the highest setting, the rubber around the lid gets into the water with a strong smell. Multiple washes did not eliminate the smell. I returned the kettle.
