My daughter likes her mixer. I am looking for a new dough hook because the paint on ours has gotten into the food, so I need a new one. People who have only hand washed have had the same experience as I did when I bought a new one. I’m not sure if these hooks are still available. Do you have a non coated version?

It’s the right size for my kitchen aid mixer. It works well with my dough.

The dough hook began to chip after less than a year. Some tips have been published by kitchen aid. Make sure the hook doesn’t rub the bowl in use, make sure it doesn’t rub against other utensils, and don’t use too much force when attaching the hook. Check! Check! Check! The hook is still chipping. It’s a pretty bad job.
