If theses attachment tightens to the left because of the native direction of the motor, there’s not much circuitry involved in reverse motor spin direction. Think again! The speed numbers are printed on a black background with a gray background on top of the dial. The top of the blender is above my eye level when I stand with it in one hand and the bowl in the other. To confirm the speed, I need to lower and tilt it. There is a lot of room on that top cap, so what about printing the numbers to extend down around the sides, 4x larger, and in a color of high contrast to the background? Baby boomers are turning 60 every day in the US. S. Think about it! A number of other brands blend it slices and dice it.

I felt the power of the product when I used it for the first time. The additional steps of pureeing soups in a food processor and/or blender are eliminated when soups are made in a pot. Eggs white can be turned into stiff peaks in no time. Smoothies can be made without the use of a large blender. Love it.

This review was part of a promotion. The chopping of ice is what makes a smooth smoothie. The plastic gear inside failed after two weeks and even though the motor ran, the knife did not turn. The time lost in buying one that actually does the job is because the advertising said this would chop ice.
