I have only used my mixer a handful of times and the paint has already chipped off the coated beater. I now can no longer use it as I don’t want paint in my food! Of course it’s not under warranty and it makes me upset I have to go and spend more money on a product that is already costly and should last after gentle hand washing!

The coated flat beater has been in my possession for almost a decade. I separated it from my 6 quart. The burnished mixer came with it. I like using the coated beater. It goes in the dishwasher when I use it at least once a week. It looks brand new after almost 10 years. Not a single chip.

I received a KitchenAid – 5 Qt Professional 5 Plus mixer as a Christmas present. The flat beater was damaged when I opened the box. It doesn’t seem like it has ever been used. It is difficult to put the bowl in place.

The stand mixer is great. I use it to bake my cakes, but it started chipping at the bottom and I noticed it had a gray color from the metal. I have been unable to bake since I threw the batter away. I want a replacement paddle that doesn’t chip.

I got online a little while ago to write a negative review of the paddles I bought a year ago. I started reading reviews and reading about adjusting the height and it hit me that was the problem. I started looking for a way to change the height. The neck is where paddle removal takes place. Play with it to get the height you want. The height is correct when the paddle is not hitting the bowl. Thanks to everyone for writing reviews, they really help. The paddles are great.

I thought the coating on my beater was from dishwasher use. The replacement blade I washed after finishing a bunch of cookies had chips. I threw the cookie batter. They have worse reviews than I was going to switch to. I won’t stop using this mixer because it was very expensive when purchased. I plan on replacing the beater when I use it again. I want to buy some at a good price because I love the mixer.

The flat beater has been chipping for a few years. Starts small and grows. My daughter also has a problem with the same model. I think Kitchenaide should replace the faulty beater at no cost to everyone who has it. I adore the mixer but won’t buy it for my other daughter until the beater is better. Constantly replacing a beater is costly.

Since my kids were born, I have had my KitchenAid K45SS. I don’t know what to do. My wire whip has fallen apart and my beater blade is chipping. I haven’t been able to find a blade that is the same size and has good reviews. The mixer is like a family member to me. Please help. Thank you.

I don’t own the Artisan 4. The model is 8L. I have had a KitchenAid model for many years and never had to replace my flat beater, until now. After baking Christmas cookies, I noticed that the beater has a chip and now I don’t want to use it. I never put the beater in the dishwasher. After reading the reviews on the same accessory, I want to know if there is a replacement for the same beater or not. E. Is it compatible with my model? I don’t need a new mixer. I wouldn’t do without this machine and would recommend the KitchenAid mixer, except for the problem with the coated flat beater.
