I used this 5 quart bowl on my 4.5 quart stand mixer to mix egg whites for meringue. The larger bowl allowed for more volume of the egg whites which whipped up beautifully. I love that the bowl can be used in the oven – I can\’t wait to bake bread in it! My 4.5 quart bowl nestled inside the 5 quart so storage is not an issue. I\’m happy with this product!

I’d been wanting this bowl for a long time and finally got it. It’s not as pretty as it looks on the internet. I didn’t get the pops of color because the colors are more subdued. It looks like a knock off product. The picture shows the handle going around the fake one, but mine doesn’t go around it like that. The bowl is heavy and good quality. I’m most likely going to return it.

Cool ingredients and soften butter. Ceramic doesn’t retain heat. The bowl needs to be used for cooling the hot candy mixture. The bowl can be placed in the oven. I own a mixer. I use this bowl for mixing, cooking and baking.

I would like to know if this is a great looking bowl. It should be in a china cabinet. It feels great and works great. As the instructions state, there is only one warning. The base plate is on the mixer. I didn’t break the spout on the bowl by rotating mine on my Artisan 2 positions. If you don’t, it will allow you to break the spout by rotating the bowl into the mixer. This bowl was used to make pasta dough and cookie dough. We ran all of our other attachment’s to make sure that everything was okay. This is a functional bowl that works with both your mixer and oven. We haven’t used much yet, but we don’t anticipate any issues. The finished product was very nice. Thanks.
