I used this 5 quart bowl on my 4.5 quart stand mixer to mix egg whites for meringue. The larger bowl allowed for more volume of the egg whites which whipped up beautifully. I love that the bowl can be used in the oven – I can\’t wait to bake bread in it! My 4.5 quart bowl nestled inside the 5 quart so storage is not an issue. I\’m happy with this product!

My previous review has been updated. I am very happy that KitchenAid replaced my first bowl after it cracked. I like the bowl. My only suggestion would be to make it lighter. The bowl is heavy.

I’d been wanting this bowl for a long time and finally got it. It’s not as pretty as it looks on the internet. I didn’t get the pops of color because the colors are more subdued. It looks like a knock off product. The picture shows the handle going around the fake one, but mine doesn’t go around it like that. The bowl is heavy and good quality. I’m most likely going to return it.

When I do a lot of baking, I need another mixing bowl. I love the color and style of it and it fits perfectly on my stand mixer. If you want to keep up on holiday baking, it would be a good idea to have this.
