(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this item to replace an Oster mixer. I am very pleased with the item except for the way the button works to set the speed. The button goes sideways rather than up and down. Just makes it a bit harder to change speeds.

My Kitchenaid was 50 years old and I had to replace it. I had no choice but to let the beaters fall out. I was expecting this one to surpass my old one. Although it has more implements and the beaters fit better, I don’t like the speeds or the length of the beaters. I need to remove them from the bowl completely because they are too short. If it lasts that long, I am not happy about it, because I am stuck with this one for the next 50 years.

I am an avid baker and I use the KitchenAid 9-speed hand mixer every day to prepare my multiple bakings and it is by far my best mixer. It is easy to use, fast to assemble, and gets the job done in no time. I prefer a good hand-held mixer over a stand alone because it takes less space to put it away and it makes cleaning time so fast. The mixer is very powerful and comes with a lot of different things. All the different types of dough were mixed perfectly.

I went with KitchenAid because I needed an upgrade on my hand mixer. This baby has 9 speeds and it lights up for ease of use, I am so happy that I did. The motor is powerful. All of the beater bar attachments are made of steel. It comes with an accessory bag to keep your attachment in, there is one for whipping, two for mixing, two for kneading dough and one for Blending. The KitchenAid blender has a soft grip handle that fits in your hand, it’s easy to clean up with a wet towel, and you can put the dishwasher on if you need it. You will be able to make homemade whipped cream in no time at all with this heavy duty blender.
