It was heavy and stable. Sturdy construction. Simple operation. The upper body has variable speeds. There are some points of possible failure. Good quality metal is used in the bowl and attachment. There are access points for more attachments. Many people have bragged about this thing and I can see why.

I replaced my 20 year old mixer with a Classic stand mixer. I depend on my mixer to bake a lot. The motor seems to be straining to keep up with cookie dough, so far it does the job. When I heard the noise, I was a little disappointed. I am concerned that it may wear out faster than it did. If you want to avoid this problem, you should get a heftier motor for the mixer. I hope my prior mixer holds up as long as I give away a lot of what I bake.

I bought this mixer a little over a month ago because I am only in the beginning stages of baking and it does everything I need it to. If you are baking for large groups, I would suggest trying out a larger mixer. My husband and my two young children love it. As far as I can tell, it does everything it claims to. It did the job amazingly when I tried cookies, doughs, and batters. For those that are just learning, or just want to try something new and different, it’s a great starter mixer. Just before you use it for the first time, be sure to clean the bowl thoroughly as there is some polishing left on it, but this has nothing to do with the quality or performance of the machine, just putting it out there because if you don’t know about it, it will I love it all the same. 5 stars from me.
