I used to pull out my old school blender when I needed it. I don’t know if my old blender will stay in the cabinet for a while after using this hand blender. The blender was easy to use. This works great because I like to puree my beans. The pan guard is a really good item and I was able to use it in the same pot I cooked them in. The blender is light and sturdy. The black color is sleek and will complement any decor. A single charge lasts a long time. I have used it several times and haven’t had to refill it yet. I am very happy with the new blender and I highly recommend it.

I had to replace my old stick blender, so I decided to go with a mini-chopper. It can be a bit awkward to press both the buttons at the same time, though the blender works well. I can only get one speed from this, so I don’t see where the “variable” comes in. I make mayonnaise with the blender all the time, but it needs a jar that is only slightly larger than the circumference of the blender, or too much oil gets into the emulsion when you start. I haven’t tried it yet, but it seems like the jar is too large for this. I saved my old one. Otherwise, the usual Kitchenaid quality, and I really like not having to fight the cord.

The Kitchen Aid Variable Speed Hand Blender is the best choice I’ve ever made and I didn’t make a mistake when I got it. I use my old fashion blender with 2 beaters more often than I use this hand blender. The size and design of the hand blender is what I like about it. I like how easy it is to use. It is light in weight and there is no need for a cord when mixing. You can do a quick charge in 20 minutes, but it takes two hours to fully charge. The charge can last up to making 25 bowls of soup or 7 batches of soup and the quick charge can make one bowl of soup or one smoothie. It has a light that tells you when it needs to be charged. I like to make my morning smoothie before I leave for work. I have used it to make many things, including shakes, sauces, purees, dressings, salsas, chocolate mousse and dips. It’s a handy little thing to have in the kitchen. It had a jar with a lid, a charging plug, and a pan guard. The pan guard can be removed to help protect my cookware. The blender arm can be put in the dishwasher. I would recommend this product to others. It’s a great quality blender and it’s very durable. It’s the first hand blender I’ve ever owned and I’m very happy with it. It is great.
