Initially, I was considering picking up the all-clad blender, but decided against it due to the brand and cost. Power, guard, and ease of usage are things that keep this from being a top-starred purchase. I make soup and smoothies with it, but it doesn’t like pineapple or chunks of frozen fruit. The guard wasn’t easy to get on and the instructions weren’t clear so he had to go to YouTube to learn how to use it. If you have a smaller hand, double button usage may be difficult. The battery indicator is either green (power) or red (dead) with a lack of gradation or percentage view you will need to charge after usage to ensure you have enough power and it doesn’t die mid usage.

I got the KitchenAid blender last week and I immediately tried it out in the kitchen and it was so fast and easy to use that I would recommend it to my family and friends.
