Long blades for quick and efficient blend; solid-state materials; wand twists on/off for easy cleaning. If my hands are wet, I don’t have to worry. I would not sacrifice the quality of the system for a lighter one.

There is a Christmas present. A thick smoothie crushing the ice. When the parsnips came to the table, they were hot and it was a perfect job of mashing them. It was easy to blend the soup in the pot. That is a safer way to do it.

I was in the middle of making my family’s favorite Cream of Broccoli soup when my old hand-held blender died. I bought the KitchenAid 2-Speed Hand Blender at the store and used it to make soup. It was like a dream. I put the entire pot of soup in a container. My kids said that the soup was better consistency than before. They rave about the soup again after we had it last night. It’s easy to clean-up. The added measuring cup for malts/frappes/shakes/smoothies is really convenient and a bonus I never received with my old hand-held blender. Thank you KitchenAid for making another great product for our family to enjoy for many years to come!

There are balance issues with the new blender. I have to change the position of the blending arm to match the alignment on it. This causes the liquid to spatter. Not good KitchenAid! I ordered new arms for two of the blenders that have this concern. The KitchenAid marketing photos show the laser etched markings on the mixing cup. It’s difficult to read the scale. Inform me of your course of action and update your photos.

I use a small handblender instead of a big one. I have to rinse it under hot water after I finish using it. Whenever I need to use cream soup or white eggs, I use it. I use it for a lot of things.

I bought my new blender from KaTom Restaurant Supply. I was skeptical at first, since I have never tried an immersion blender and have only used stand mixers in the past, but it works better than I ever expected! The first time I made my homemade, no-bake cheesecake, the batter came out smooth, and I knew that this was a keeper. Do it if you don’t know if you should purchase this product.

There are two gripes. The cord is so stiff that I am constantly trying to make it straight so it is not a burden. It does not flex at all. I don’t put it around the motor housing. There isn’t a plastic guard attachment for the arm. You can’t use it on non-stick cookware. It works well so far. The button is not easy to use. It doesn’t get any air into my food. Which is good.

This works well. The parts connecting the handle and shaft are made of metal. I didn’t have stripped gears like my previous blender. It makes great soup and smoothie. But… The parts don’t seem to be held together as securely when blended. There are no major problems yet.

My daughters and I love our blenders. It is a time saver when you are making soup. When it’s too hot to handle, you don’t need to transfer to a blender. I like the selection of colors. Each of us has a different color to match our kitchens.

The hand blender works well. It is practical and pretty. I like the cup that comes with it and the lid. Need more of those. You will love how fast it can mix anything. I haven’t tried ice yet, but it says it can do it.
