I came to purchase a new flat beater to replace the one that was leaving gray residue in my food and on my hands. I now see it\’s still a huge problem with no alternatives.
I have a Pro series mixer and a cheap beater!
It very sad this is the quality of such a important part of a appliance that cost so much money.
….and I had NO dishwasher when I first had this problem with the gray residue so it\’s not only a problem from proper care.

I bought my second Kitchenaid mixer a few years ago. The burnished model was the first beater I used. It left a trail on my hands. I threw it away. I bought a coated beater. I haven\’t had it for a while. It is chipping and leaving pieces in my food. Yuck. My first mixer lasted a long time. I think the second one won\’t. The quality is not as good as it was in the past. Disappointed.

I didn\’t like my Kitchen Aid. I received it as a gift. I\’ve been using it for a while, and it\’s turning grey. The hook and beater are doing the same thing. I stopped using it because I was frustrated. I decided to go online to see if I could order replacement parts, because there are many other people that have the same issue. What should I do now? I need to tell my parents that I have a kitchen aid that I can\’t use. So disappointed.

A family member accidentally put this attachment in the dishwasher. I\’ve tried to place an order but it says unavailable. We can\’t find replacements in stores.

My wife loves Kitchenaid mixers so I bought the Pro 600 for her. The attachment has the coating coming off in a gray color. It won’t stop no matter what I do. Many people are reporting the same issue. Does Kitchenaid replace them?

Many people on here echo my complaints. It leaves stains on my food and is tarnishing. Kitchenaid claims that it isn’t harmful. No thank you! I received a response asking for more information after I submitted a complaint. Several months ago, I responded twice. There is still no action from kitchenaid. I’ve been a fan of this company for a long time.

Please come up with a better option than paint falling off in the food or an aluminum one turning black. Is it really that difficult? I can’t use my mixer because of this.

Is there any type of attachment available? With the poor reviews about the white coated one chipping, I don’t know what to do, I had to throw it away. I have an expensive mixer that I can’t use. The quality has gone by the wayside.

There is a gray substance on hands when touching this beater. I can’t use this beater to prepare food.

After washing my beaters and stand mixers, they oxidize. I’ve tried everything to get them back to normal but I think I’m out of luck. I love Kitchen Aid but I wish they had a better beater option.

The KitchenAid mixer that my wife and I replaced had a switch that needed to be replaced. I suggested that she get a bigger mixer so that she could make single batches of her cookies instead of having to mix them twice. The idea was a good one until the beater was washed. Is there an easy fix for this or a replacement that won’t oxidize?
