So sad… It seems to be short of being able to get on my mixer, despite the fact that it says it fits K45 mixers. I don’t think so.

We didn’t use the attachment and left it on the shelf. It is well separated from everything else. I was told by customer support that the expected lifetime was between 5 and 8 years. They were unable to replace it because it was outside of the one year warranty. I’m worried about using it because I don’t know if any of the coating chips will end up in my food. Customer support was terrible, they disconnected from chat without answering my questions. Strongly recommend against.
