Absolutely love this coffee grinder. It is made to grind your coffee. The fine-course preference of every person using it will be dialed by a slight turn of a knob. The coffee seems to have a consistent strength. I have never had such a precise grind before. The Krups grinder provides a virtual, mess-free experience because of the ease and simplicity of use.

The Krupa burr mill grinder is an upgrade over my simple blade type grinder. To adjust the grind with the blade type grinder, I had to grind it for a short period of time and then look at it. There were always larger pieces of coffee beans in the mix. I can choose the size of the grind from espresso to coarse with the new burr mill grinder. The medium grind is a nice uniform grind for our coffee maker. I think it’s quieter than my old blade grinder. It has a small brush to clean it.

The machine is the best. It is very quiet and fast. You can keep leftover grinds for next time if you put the lid on or the cover. The extra 10 should be spent. For this machine. Dave Eisenman.

Our old cheapo coffee grinder was not as good as this one. My husband used to put a potholder over the old one. The Krups Silent Vortex is a game-changer. Is it silent? It is at least 75% less loud. The motor is the only thing you hear. I am impressed, but I don’t know how they did that. The grind is even and we don’t have to worry about coffee dust in our cup. It is better than I expected. The markings on the lid tell you how long to grind for. The bowl of the grinder can be removed, so you can wash it thoroughly. If you want to grind your beans in the evening and have them ready for the morning, it comes with a lid for storage.
