I am very happy with this purchase. It works well. I bought it for my homesteading needs. It’s a good idea to let it cool down for a few minutes after running it consistently for over 15 minutes. It comes with a manual that is worth reading before using it. For those of us who space out and walk away, it’s great that you need to stand by and use it manually. It’s ahem. First, safety! It was easy to clean. If you live in an apartment with thin walls, I would be careful about timing.

I’m astounded by the negative reviews I’ve read. I have used my Krups coffee grinder more than 11,000 times since I bought my first home in 1988. I clean it after each use, but that is not what has extended it’s life. It’s a product of sound engineering and manufacturing processes. It still looks new. Thanks Krups!

There is nothing to dislike about this. It works well every time. We have another one of these, but it was moved into the job of grinding up dried eggshells to top our raw-fed cats’ diet. eggshells serve that purpose beautifully because I don’t always have bones to crunch up. The grinder has worked perfectly for 18 years.
